Patriot was developed at the U. of Maine for consistent crops of very large berries, the size of quarters. Despite large size, the flavor is outstanding. Self-pollinating but will produce better crops if more than one variety is planted. Adaptable to many soils and will perform better in wetter soils than many other varieties. Excellent landscape variety, showy white blossoms and fiery orange fall color. |
